In a show of social responsibility, PT Bara Anugerah Sejahtera (BAS) distributed 120 food packages to underprivileged families in Tanjung Agung Subdistrict, Muara Enim.
Each package included rice, cooking oil, condensed milk, and sugar—essential items to support the community ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.
Distribution Ceremony Held at Subdistrict Hall
The donation was officially handed over on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at the Tanjung Agung Subdistrict Office.
Present at the event were Subdistrict Head Cholid Tri Aquarian, SSTP., MSi, along with local officials, BAS representatives including Company Spokesperson H. Akwam, and members of the recipient community.
Commitment to Community Welfare
This initiative reflects PT BAS’s commitment to improving local well-being—especially during Ramadan, a time of reflection and generosity.
Packages will be further distributed to families across several villages within the subdistrict.

Subdistrict Head Cholid expressed deep appreciation for BAS’s continued community support.
He assured that the aid would be promptly delivered to those in need and reported to Muara Enim Regent Mr. Edison, in accordance with regional guidelines.
“The local government encourages all companies to contribute to social welfare in their operational areas,” he added.
