Promoting Good Mining Practice (GMP)
The event aimed to deepen students’ understanding of Good Mining Practice (GMP),
focusing on workplace safety, environmental impact, and sustainable resource management.
Strengthening Industry-Academic Collaboration
Students and faculty of Akamigas Polytechnic took part in the event,
gaining insights directly from mining industry practitioners.
Through discussions and presentations by PT Banjarsari Pribumi representatives,
participants learned how GMP is applied in real field conditions.
As mining becomes more complex, responsible practices like GMP are essential,
especially in ensuring safety and environmental care.
Sharing industry experience helps students understand how to apply these practices effectively in their future careers.

Akamigas Polytechnic— a campus focused on energy and mining education.
